You Want Face Surgery?
Good Reasons for Face Surgery
There are many good reasons for face surgery. However, there are bad surgeons just like there are good surgeons. A surgeon is not going to show you his failures. Make sure your surgeon is in a group that has a good name and has been around for a long time. Just because you hear a name bantered, does not mean they are good surgeons. After all, how many times was Madoff recommended before his empire came crashing down?
Do your due diligence.
And that means more than just talking to your friend, neighbor, or acquaintance. Google has reviews now that can not be tampered with. Read them all. This is your face we are talking about. Even with all of the due diligence you can think of, sometimes things just go wrong. To me, it is also important that my surgeon does not have a fight with his wife the night before my surgery. But there is no way to know. I also want a surgeon with lots of experience and from a reputable school.
Main Reason To Have Face Surgery
Because you want it! As you get older you lose the muscle tone and skin elasticity in your neck and face. You begin to notice deep creases around your nose and mouth and your jowls get bigger and bigger. Your neck and face get wrinkles, lots of wrinkles. You always look tired although on the inside you still feel the same. The fact that your chin is less defined adds to your poor looks.
You may be tired of being overlooked by the “younger” generation. Don’t worry, their time is coming. However, you have so much experience to share and talk about but no one is interested as you appear old. This is not the middle ages you signed up for. You know your feelings still matter and you have lots to offer., But try to tell that to a 30 or 40-year-old! So you just want to be relevant again. And a younger looking face can only help.
Your significant other is not with you anymore. You will not find another person to share the rest of your life with looking the way you do. After all, who wants to be seen with someone who looks so old! Yes, Mom always said it was the inside that matters but how can you show anyone your insides when the outside is not so attractive.
It is time for a change. However, be certain that this is not only what you want, but you are willing to put up with the irritations that may go along with it. You may not get the result you want and there will be no going back. However, if you do indeed have a good result, the ramifications to the rest of your life will be impressive.
Don’t forget the appearance of your physical body as well as the appearance of your face. They both make you who you are. It will take quite a bit of effort to get your body in shape to go along with your new face. But you can do whatever you put your mind to. There is never a better time to start.
Top Five Additional Reasons to Have Face Surgery
Reason 1: To boost self-esteem.
We have heard for years that the self-esteem of our children is so important. Do not misjudge the importance of your self-esteem. Your self-confidence will also improve as you alter your appearance for the better.
Reason 2: To turn back the hands of time.
Father time is not so very nice to older women. If you are lucky enough to have great genes, then it may not be so bad. However, for the rest of us, improving our outward appearance helps us to feel young.
Reason 3: Because we want to make our partner happy.
This is not a good reason. If this is the reason you want to have face surgery, you need to rethink your relationship. Surgery can not repair what is broken.
Reason 4: Vanity.
There is nothing wrong with this one. It is a fact that our lives revolve around looks. If it would make you feel good to look the best you can, definitely go for it.
Reason 5: To look like a celebrity.
Bad reason. Every person is an individual and has his own strengths and weaknesses. Just because you look like someone else will not give you their life. You must be happy with your lot in life. Change what you can and learn to live with what you can not. However, if face surgery will make you feel better, it is a good reason.
Face surgery is a great way to make changes that can increase your self-esteem and happiness. It is one thing you can do for yourself. Consider carefully why you want to have this surgery. It may be the best therapy or it may be the worst therapy for you.
